Scott Larkin - Senior Management Consultant
Mr. Larkin is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and senior management consultant with 25+ years of experience helping to improve the performance of people, organizations, processes, and systems. Mr. Larkin joined MainStream in 2002 as a Lean Six Sigma senior management consultant helping to transform Depot Operations at the Ogden Air Logistics Center from traditional “batch and queue” to “cellular”. Subsequently Mr. Larkin become the program lead over MainStream’s work with the Air Mobility Command (AMC) of the U.S. Air Force. In this role he supported the work of a team of 18 senior management consultants working with the domestic operations of the AMC.
Mr. Larkin is currently the project lead supporting the training and mentoring of over 70 Green and Black Belt Lean Six Sigma candidates throughout the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC). In this role he is working with senior AFRC leadership utilizing MainStream’s Proprietary Value Stream Analysis methodology. This methodology helps the organization develop strategic plans for leveraging their internal Lean Six Sigma efforts, ensuring that as they develop their internal Lean Six Sigma experts they use their skills to further the command’s strategic goals and objectives.
Prior to joining MainStream Mr. Larkin was a senior staff software engineer and project manager working with various organizations implementing Oracle Systems. Mr. Larkin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communications from the University of the State of New York and a Masters of Arts degree in Organizational Management.
