Terry J. DeGarmo, Senior Finance Director – Senior Finance Director
Mr. Terry J. DeGarmo has more than 25 years of experience as a C-Level finance manager, including 15 years as a Chief Financial Officer within Fortune 500 corporations and emerging companies. Mr. DeGarmo’s financial executive leadership and guidance includes strategic operational and financial planning, consummating capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, organizational design and development, and manufacturing cost and analysis. He possesses deep experience in the manufacturing, commercial construction, and financial services industries.
As Senior Management Consultant at MainStream Management, Mr. DeGarmo specializes in performing due diligence, financial assessments, and financial turnarounds for privately held and public traded middle market companies. In addition, Mr. DeGarmo has worked on a number of engagements at middle market Private Equity portfolio companies and assisted numerous organizations’ management teams in achieving significant cost savings. He has deep experience in streamlining and improving financial an organization’s processes and improving its financial reporting.
Prior to joining MainStream, Mr. DeGarmo was Senior Principal Consultant of DeGarmo & Associates, a provider of business and financial consulting services. In this role, he provided clients with strategic operational and financial planning as well as identifying and assisting in securing external debt or equity capital.
During his career, Mr. DeGarmo held the role of Chief Financial Officer with numerous organizations including Citicorp, Sunrise Systems, American Restoration, and Martin Mink & Associates. At Xerox Corporation Mr. DeGarmo held various managerial financial positions on its Corporate Finance staff including five years as an Expatriate covering international foreign currency translation and financial reporting.
Mr. DeGarmo has led numerous M&A’s including the sale of a division of Citicorp, a spin-off of a division of Xerox Corporation, the start-up of a high-tech computer manufacturing company, and the acquisition and combination of two commercial construction companies.
Mr. DeGarmo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Masters of Business Administration degree. Mr. DeGarmo is a member of the Financial Executive Network Group and the Construction Financial Management Association.
