James R. Burritt - Managing Director

Mr. Burritt has more than 25 years experience providing expert guidance to troubled and underperforming companies. During this time he has handled critical financial and operational issues including: wind down services, asset recovery and corporate dispositions, rapid cost reduction programs, and corporate turnarounds.

Mr. Burritt’s primary area of practice has been with organizations that fall into the category of late decline. He has been a key player in 17 successful corporate renewal projects working with major banks, asset based lenders, creditor committees, corporate directors, shareholders, and trustees. Jim has served in the capacity of interim, CEO, CLO, CRO and as an advisor to small and mid-market corporations. Companies that have benefited from Mr. Burritt's executive leadership and guidance include, Atlantic Extrusions, Inc., Bettcher Industries, General Time Corporation, Willcox & Gibbs, Inc., and Top Air, Incorporated.

Prior to joining MainStream, Mr. Burritt served as a senior vice president, managing the national sales, service and installation organizations of the North American operations of DeLaRue, PLC, a U.K. based company. During his tenure the company's revenues quadrupled with annual sales exceeding $500 million.

He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and is a member of the Ethics Committee and Asset Sales Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).
