Kali B. Mistry - Vice President of Air Force Programs, Public Sector

Mr. Mistry leads MainStream’s public sector team that was selected to provide services under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) contract for the U.S. Air Force—a $90 Million opportunity. Mr. Mistry has served as MainStream’s site manager for the Hill Air Force project, which involves scheduling, training and oversight of the MainStream’s public sector consulting team. In addition, he interacts with base client leadership to keep them updated on project progress, planning, developing and implementing new projects. Also, Mr. Mistry is responsible for leading base clients through their strategy deployment efforts.

Previously, Mr. Mistry was a management consultant assisting organizations in the implementation of LEAN / CPI practices, utilizing methodologies based upon the Toyota Production System to implement cellular one-piece flow production in manufacturing and overhaul/repair facilities.

Mr. Mistry has thirty-five years of industry and consulting experience, working as a business manager, lean manufacturing practitioner and consultant across the value chains of a variety of industries. Specifically, these industries include automotive, aerospace, biotech, general manufacturing, and distribution. Mr. Mistry has been a coach to all levels of senior executives, middle management and shop-floor teams on change initiatives, organization mobilization, and organization realignment. Mr. Mistry has a wealth of international experience and is adept at navigating the cultures of several countries including the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Argentina, France India, Japan and Canada.

Mr. Mistry received his Bachelors of Science and Management Studies degrees from National College of Polymer Science and Technology in London UK. He is a member of the Air Force Association (AFA) and the Logistics Officer Association (LOA).
