Laurie L. Rueber - Director, Business Consulting
Ms. Rueber is a results-driven finance and accounting professional who focuses on performance improvement, corporate restructurings, and asset dispositions. Her sector expertise includes professional services, medical technology, food & beverage, distribution, and manufacturing. Her strengths include in-depth analysis into pricing disparities, cost-reduction, and asset value optimization. Ms. Rueber’s clients range from $10 million to $5 billion in sales.
Ms. Rueber joined MainStream in 2010 and works in the firm’s business improvement practice. Prior to joining MainStream Ms. Rueber worked as an assurance manager at McGladrey Pullen, LLP where she was responsible for identifying and analyzing operational and financial statement risks, developing a risk management program, and served as an audit manager. She also assisted in the preparation and review of client financial statements to determine compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP.
Ms. Rueber began her career at Ernst & Young, LLP, in Minneapolis, where she had extensive experience in the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. She also developed an expertise in SEC filings. Ms. Rueber received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northern Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Bankruptcy Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, and the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors.
