Turnaround CEO Consultant

We are searching for corporate restructuring consultants to fill chief executive officer (CEO) roles in distressed companies. Candidates must have demonstrated success in corporate turnaround, bankruptcy, and corporate dispositions. These positions requires a combination of analysis, creativity, confidence, mental toughness (few people in the company are your friend), and the ability to constantly work in an intense environment.

These positions are 1099 consultant positions. We are not looking for people who are interested in filling an executive role as an employee. Our challenge is to find the executives who live to work in this environment and reap the benefits of success. Once successful, they are looking for the opportunity to dive into the next challenge.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of demonstrated successful experience as a CEO consultant in corporate restructuring roles.
  • Ability to immediately begin a forensic study of the client company, analyze what is and what is not working. Then prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary.
  • Provide financial analysis regarding restructuring/turnaround services for underperforming companies/stakeholders
  • Analyze business transactions/restructuring strategies
  • Articulate complex subject matter in a clear and concise manner. Prepare analyses/reports for clients to understand business operations.
  • Astute problem solving abilities both corporate and interpersonal. Effective working with members of the restructuring team.
  • Ability to build successful relationships with the client.
  • Ability to understand the risks and benefits of financial modeling results and then work to improve or capitalize on them.
  • Demonstrated experience in restructuring related roles including transaction advisory, performance improvement, creditor advisory, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated resiliency working on a crisis team. Understand the value of developing more than one option to solve problems when possible.
  • Possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to travel nearly 100% of the time.
  • To be effective with this corporate restructuring team, the successful consultant will be honest and demonstrate a high level of integrity.

Education:

Undergraduate degree required.
MBA, CPA, CFA, CIRA, CTP preferred.
